Update as of 6/25/20:

Rhino USA players and parents,

A few hours ago we received a cancellation notification from the staff at Summit Lacrosse, operators of the Lake Placid tournament. They received a ruling from NYS and the Town of Lake Placid Board of Directors that they are NOT allowed to run the Lake Placid tournament in August. They have officially made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event.

We are very disappointed but do understand their decision. Our staff has been working hard for months planning and organizing Rhino USA. These teams would have been the most competitive ever fielded in Lake Placid. We know it’s disappointing for the players to not have a chance to compete. We hope that you will consider joining Rhino USA training camp and tournament next summer.

My staff and I will begin to work on refunds due to this cancellation. This process will take a bit of time; we use a registration platform called League Apps and they are currently backed up with refunds that they are processing. We are told the refunds might take 1-2 weeks. Again, we will start working with them today. Everyone will be refunded in FULL.

If you have any questions please let us know. Thanks again to you and your family on your selection and commitment to Rhino USA.

All the best and stay safe!

We are proud to offer five Rhino USA teams for 2020. Each team will compete in the world-famous Lake Placid Summit Classic.

Director Ryan Powell and his talented staff at Rhino USA are eager to compete this Summer at the 2020 Lake Placid Summit Lacrosse Tournament with our five Rhino USA National Teams. With the competition to succeed at the next level becoming more competitive, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills and continue to improve your game while having fun.

The most unique part of this experience will be our 3-day Overnight Training Camp leading up to the Lake Placid Lacrosse Tournament. Our Training Camp will be located at the prestigious Northwood School which is right in the heart of Lake Placid. All players will receive outstanding coaching, the opportunity to receive guidance with recruiting while having an overall fun and rewarding experience on and off the field. The objective of the Training Camp will be to build team chemistry and on-field success together, making sure all team members show recruiters their best.

Our goal is to build a very competitive team with some of the best talents in the country. If you are driven and think you have what it takes, we encourage you to complete the Player Application as soon as possible to be considered for a spot on one of our 2020 Rhino USA National Teams. The Rhino USA teams are an “invite only”, players must complete the Player Application to be considered for an invitation to the team. Applications for 2020 are now closed.
